Protecting Our Customers: Fake Reviews and a Copycat Website

At Bascora, transparency is something we take seriously. So when we became aware of a situation that could affect how our customers perceive us, we felt it was important to address it publicly and honestly.

What We've Noticed

In recent weeks, our Trustpilot profile has received a small number of 1-star reviews making serious claims — including allegations of non-delivery and lack of customer communication. We investigated each one thoroughly.

The result: we have no record of any orders, invoices, or email correspondence from any of these reviewers. Not one.

We fulfil every order we receive. Our dispatch and delivery records are intact. If a genuine customer ever has an issue, we resolve it — that's a commitment we stand by.

Why This Matters

We also noticed that these reviews originate from US-based accounts. Bascora is a UK-based business and we do not currently operate in the US market. This makes the authenticity of these reviews even more difficult to reconcile.

Trustpilot's own automated systems have flagged at least one of these reviews for containing potentially harmful or illegal content.

A Note on a Similar Domain

We are aware of a website operating under a domain name very similar to ours. We want to be clear: bascora.com is our only official website. We have no affiliation with any other domain and cannot vouch for the legitimacy or safety of any site impersonating our brand.

If you are ever unsure whether you are on the genuine Bascora website, please check that the URL reads exactly bascora.com and look for our standard branding and product range.
