Friendly to you and friendly to the environment is a fair summary, but it undersells how well these are built. The shorts are fitted with a wide high waistband, which is the detail that makes the difference in wear: it stays put through movement, holds a smooth line at the front, and never becomes the thing you are adjusting.
The fabric is 72% organic cotton blended with 28% recycled elastane. The organic cotton keeps the piece soft and breathable against the skin; the recycled elastane is reclaimed rather than virgin and does the work of the stretch. The result is a knit that is firmer than you might expect but highly flexible with it, which is precisely why it stays comfortable across a long day rather than just the first hour.
Wear them for training, for warm-weather days, or as the easy bottom half of an off-duty outfit. The fit is close and considered, so they layer neatly under a longer tee or an oversized sweatshirt without bunching.
